Looks like the beginning of a nice, square stand. can't wait to see the progress.
just finished the engine stand and now its just about ready for paint soon then im going to start doing the seat stand
well got the seat stand started and just have some more bracing to do on it and then it will be done
Hello and welcome to the site !! You're making some quick progress there but then again you have a good teacher to guide you....

Thanks corky i did all the welding myself and the engine stand is something i had in mind im going to make home made motor mounts by useing window weld ill take duck tape and tap off the bottom parts of the mounting pipes and ill have a piece of small pipe for the motor mount bolts to go thru ill post pictures of that when i get to that point
Well just got the window weld and fixing to go make the mounts wish me luck
well got the mounts made alittle bit sloppy but it will work and i use this stuff when i was into building my honda civic and had bad mounts i just bought this stuff and filled it full and i had poly mounts never gave me a problem

with all the tinkering that i have done, i can't believe i never heard of the 3M window weld before. looked it up on the net, I could have really it about 5 years ago. but better late than never.
yea it is as strong as polyurethane it is really good stuff i figure if it works for my motor mounts i had on my civic then it should worl for mounts on my mini airboat

I have a tube on hand myself...One thing for sure if you install auto glass with that stuff it lives up to its name and you could end up breaking the glass before you get it back out...It should hold up nicely...If anything it might be too rigid and transmit some vibration through the engine/seat stand compared to a rubber mount...

We will find out when i finish it but the seat stand and the engine stand is separate but its gotta set for 24hrs before anything
I see you have a circle S redrive...Good choice...Did you just get that ??? I bought 3 engine mounts with the standard rubber/urethane mounts fit into them when I built my boat{from Chuck at Airboat pros}...But they're nothing more than EMT with a flare at each end..Very easy to duplicate if needed...All in all I bet yours will hold up better in the long run...
