Ok I picked up a cage set for the future boat. To cheap to pass up/cost to build/my time etc.
he had a 40hp Briggs on 36" center. From a Paul Dixon mini. Might have to modify it but that is for later.

Just coming to the thread. I have a 12x5 hull (Marian boat Works/well built) with a 582 Rotax (65HP) and 3 blade IVO prop. My hunting partner just saw a similar setup caribou hunting; his hull was 14'. I rebuilt my 582 but want a motor with 85-90hp.
