62 years old and now I'm wanting an airboat????
My son ( 42) a few years ago built a beaver tail mud boat out of a 16' aluminum bass boat with a 35hp Mud devil. WHAT a kick.
NOW we want to do an airboat.
Going to need a LOT of guidance on this one

Welcome. I am 70 and just now getting the air boat bug.I have 1 14X48 john boat I have built a air motor mount for with a 27hp Kohler with a 48"X22 pitch prop. I am in the process of fine tuning. First run was very slow. I estimate below 10mph. I have angled the motor and will make another speed run this week. I will post some pics soon.
