    I hope so . I am at work offshore when I get back home I have to hook up the radiator put the carbs back on hook up the throttle an I will be ready to run the engine
    and then set the prop. I cant wait !

    what kind of wire should put on the cage . I was told that home Depot sells a rubber coated
    wire that works well

    Are you looking for a wire to simply attach to the cage without welding or do you plan on welding the wire to the cage ??? I'm assuming you want to fasten a pre-made wire to the cage by your response above...1/8th inch wire seems to be a popular choice in a 4 inch block pattern...If you're not welding it then a coated mesh wire would work great...

    yes I plan on attaching it with out welding it thanks for your reply and where do you by that kind of wire ?

    I'd check at the usual places...As you've stated home depot, Lowes..I'd check tractor supply they have galvanized fencing grids... Any fence company could probably get you the grid sections....

    That looks mighty fine there sir. Glad to see you got her together. As far as wire ive always used the 2x4 welded wire from home depot. Its lightweight but still strong enough to keep the stuff from going through the prop. I would think the rubber coated stuff would just melt off when you go to weld it.

    I got to go out on the lake with my new boat ran good about 30 mph got right on step I have some adjusting to do to the prop
    I have a little much pitch it will not run dry ground yet and I think I have to big of battery I have a lawn more battery I am going to try.
