My hull is 10'x5'. 66" across the top. I called arrow prop today and was told I needed a 48" prop. What I have read most folks are running a 60" prop. What are yalls thoughts on this? Direct drive.

Sent you a PM, the best two blade wooden prop for the 084 using direct drive is a 52x24 wide chord prop. It has a better top speed and will cruise at a lower RPM. Using one on my red boat I can cruise as low as 1600 RPM after getting on plane. In my opinion it is the best prop choice out there for the 084 direct drive. Results may vary depending on the width and length of your boat as well as the design. I've found with my boat the RPM is pretty much the same number as speed. 1600 RPM equals 16 MPH, 3000 RPM equals 30 MPH and so on, again others results will vary because of hull size, weight and setup.

The number on the prop is 52PW2A24 3989. I'll post a photo of it when I get to a computer.
