Very unique design! Great workmanship ... I don't know if I would have gone with diamond plate for the rudder though ... might not have good smooth flow across it like a true airfoil but it sure looks nice!

Is the hull fiber glassed? I'm building the 2 seater lake buggy now and I'm going back and forth between fiber glassing it or just sealing the wood
What size engine and prop are you running?
I just finished my Lakebuggy build and ready for painting. I noticed that Gg Kustomz may have applied resin to his boat. Any ideas?? I have a420cc Predator engine and would like t know what prop to use as well. Any input would be appreciated.
Welcome to the site !! It does appear there was a coating of something.. I originally thought the outer hull might have been a sprayed layer of gel coat...One thing for sure there's multiple layers you can see he had a basecoat then a sandable layer and a final coat...The vinyl graphics added a nice touch and a layer of waterproofing as well...
The arrowprop website has a contact number I'd call them for the recomendation on your size engine.... Here's the link...http://www.arrowprop.com/

Thanks for the welcome, Corky. I have been trying to get in touch with Gg Kustomz through the forum here but no luck. I don't see a weave from the fiberglass which leads me to think he just applied resin to seal the wood before painting. Then you could just spray your colors. First good day I will take my boat outside for pictures ad post them. It's winter here in CT.
I wonder how the hard chime is/reacts on that boat?
Looks very nice.
I saw this same boat on You tube on a trial run. Thought I'd post it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GWAH4DaFGLQ Looks like it moves along pretty well for a wooden hull and a small motor.
