    Mini direct drive running dry

Hello all, after almost 4 months I finally got my boat together and am ready to share with y'all. My boat is aluminum and I'm using a 4a084 Hercules engine with a farbanks magneto with a stock carb with Harley mufflers. I am using an ultraprop at 59x10 and am spinning it up to 2800-3000 rpm on the trailer. Just for kicks I pushed my rig off the trailer and cranked it up. And it pushed on ground just fresh cut grass no water at all. Here's a video my girlfriend took of me. Hope y'all enjoy.

Thanks papee Many hours of fun work and I can't wait to get it in the water to see the speed. Where is the link to make the picture like that? And how do I put the description of my boat like you have in red and a couple other members have when you post?

    Thanks again Steve

Cool....what are the specs on your hull? length, width, side height, material thickness, etc? And weight if you know it.

To post the video so it shows you use little film strip icon and put the youtube url in there. I don't think it works with the mobile link like you posted, you have to use the regular link.

Aewrigh. The dimensions are: 10'6" x 69" at the back with 12"-14" sides and .100 aluminum riveted hull 3/4 deck over. Weight of bare hull was right at 220lbs. Total weight of motor, stand, rigging, and hull without battery and gas is right at 500 lbs

Papee I'll give the specs a try now and see if it works.

    Thanks again Steve

I think I got it figured out but I don't know why it didn't show up on my previous messages. I managed to getmy avatar changed out. Maybe it'll show up in this message although I wanted in blue it didn't show up when I was typing it in blue.

Hey it worked. Thanks papee. Still not in blue but it's ok. I tried clicking on the "A" icon to change the text color but it didn't change anything. Anyways thanks again and I appreciate the feedback and help

I don't know why but its not letting me change colors, its ok though. It may be due to the fact that I put the signature on using my iphone instead of my computer. No worries.` thanks again Steve

I've seen that tapatalk mentioned in threads b4 and I think I tried to download it but my phone isn't capable due to it not haveing the right ios system or something like that. I'll try to look it up and see if it'll let me download it. Regards Steve
