You will never have to replace a V belt again. It is a 1.65 to 1 ratio and it just may be bullet proof. It comes complete with starter and hardware. I think it will sell for about $ 1095.00.
We are working out our cost now. We have 5 more already built.
    Thanks, Chuck

    Hey Chuck,
Nice looking unit, simular to a amax redrive cog belt design I have on my subaru used back in the 90's. Your right about being bullet proof.

Cool. Does it have the same engine mount foot print as the Arrowprop redrive so i don't haft to change my engine mount. Also is the distant from the center of the bottom pulley to the center of the top pulley the same as the arrowprop re drive so i don't haft to change my prop gard.

    Thanks Steve

Hey Steve, The engine mount is the same. The center to center is 8 inches and i beleave the c to c on the Arrowprop is 7 inches. That would make your prop be 1 inch higher. How many inches is your guard above your prop?
    Thanks, Chuck

I want one guess I'll have to sell my boat to afford it tho. Maybe if I cut a few corners on the wife's new bathroom.

OK, I have received all the cost in getting all the parts made and my first estimate was a little off. The retail cost of the 084 CBD will have to be $ 1250.00. It does include the starter and all the hardware to bolt it on. We have the parts for 5 more units in transit. On the first 5 units there will be a $ 100.00 discount for members of this mini site.
    Thanks, Chuck

Parts for the last 5 units have arrived and the shipping and cost for the backing plate was more than we expected. We will have to seel these drives for $ 1400.00 each to come out. We can still give the 100.00 off for MAA members and that will cut it close to making no profit. We will be looking for better pricing for the next one's we have made but we have to sell these first.
    Thanks, Chuck

    Re: 084 Cogged Belt drive.

Chuck ...What's the latest news on these reduction drives? I've been pouring through all the builds both on this site and on Southern Airboat site. I've just purchased a 4a084 engine and I'm deciding on which reduction drive to use. I see mention of a Circle S drive but can't seem to find any detailed info on it. The Airboat Pros site doesn't seem to be working for me, at least I can't get the online store to work. Are you still offering a drive? Thanks.
