    Steve,

    That's looking good.

And it sounded like the starter works great.

I couldn't read the numbers on the tach. What've you got the red line mark at?

BTW, I think there's a typo in your link. That may be why it doesn't work.

    Try this one:

Yep that one works Duane thanks. I have a yellow line that starts @ 3500 the red starts@ 4000 two 6000. It will turn about 4100 RPM on a cool day but on a hot day it will only turn about 3800, but i always keep it below 3700. I have my prop set at 12 degrease at the tips. The reason i am going to leave it there is it comes out of the hole good and goes fast enough for me, When i was making the video i never turned it over 3500 rpm.

    Steve,

You've got the same hull, engine, reduction drive, and prop as me. That's good info that you've provided. Thank you.

12 degrees at the tips. I'll keep that in mind for future reference.

Sounds like you've got it figured out pretty darned close.

On second thought, we "almost" have the same prop. But we have different hubs. If I remember correctly, your hub makes it a 65" prop. But mine makes it a 67" prop.

Sounds like 12 degrees may be a good starting point for me. I may even start out with just a little more pitch, to reduce the max RPM, and then sneak up on it, as I get more confident.

I'll have my hands full learning, and don't need to be worrying about engine speed.

    Thanks again,

    Duane
