    Turbo Kohler

This 40 HP Kohler should be putting out about 57 HP with the Turbo added. This engine had 30 hrs on when William added the Turbo. After 20 hrs with the Turbo, the plastic oil pump gear started melting due to oil from turbo being too hot. The engine was completely rebuilt and fit with an orifice to cut down on the amount of oil flowing back to the engine. I am thinking about adding an intercooler to cool the air going into the engine to make more HP.
Now all i need is a customer to let me build them a boat with this engine. Name: Turbo Kohler 003.jpg

is that a bing carb? I'm using a mikuni but similar idea. I'm contemplating a mitsubushi TD-02 for my 4A032, any no-no's to be aware of? I like the idea of a turbo on a tiny motor making waaaay too much power!

No, it's a mikuni. We haven't found a customer for it so it is still sitting here.
    Thanks, Chuck

    hey Chuck,
Is this sweetie still sitting on your shop floor or was someone (like me) wanting to be faster? If so, how did it turn out? If not let's talk soon!

The man that set it up though it to be about 57 HP. We still have it. I would put an intercooler on it and a bigger oil supply.
    Make an offer.
    Thanks, Chuck
