    Nice looking motor.

Be sure to use some Permatex form-a-gasket on the valve covers to make sure you don't spoil that great looking paint. I've put back all the photos in this build since it is a short one.

    Buster,

At first glance I thought it was Redneck chrome myself.

On second look, it looks like it may be polished aluminum. Whatever it is, it looks pretty nice. I'm not sure, but I "think" all of that is aluminum.

    Steve,

That's looking VERY nice. Keep up the nice work!

    Steve,

I was going to ask about the carb, but got caught by the bling.

So tell more about the carb. (and the redrive)

I also saw the carb, and I would have asked, but I figured maybe you spelled it out before, and I missed it. I figured I would eventually find out about one way or the other.

    Steve,

    It's looking very NICE.

That's going to be a purdy boat when you get done with it.

It's already purdy, but it'll be REAL purdy when you're done.

I like it. You do nice work.

Now, tell more about that carb. It looks a bit like a Mikuni, but who am I?

    Thanks,

    Duane

    n4wsp,

Really a great looking setup Steve.

I was wondering what are you doing for a charging system? If you are you using the stock built in alternator, how is it working out for you? I seem to have hit a snag with mine.

    Thanks,

    Dave
