    Steve,

It looks like you're well on your way.

Uh, the third picture has another boat IN your boat.

What's the story behind that one?

I think that's a great idea. If the bigger boat sinks, you can just keep going

    Re: Steve's Build

That is my first airboat . I built it from scratch . It has a 25cc leaf blower motor, three blade 14in 8 pitch master air screw prop, it turns 8500 rpm ,clock's out at 34mph. I just hope my mini 116 will run that good. More to come.
Buy the way the hull is modeling ply wood and fiberglass. it took me three months to build. I spent a lot of time waiting on glue to dry. I think i can build this mini faster than that. Steve

    Steve,

I just HATE waiting for glue to dry.

It's almost as bad as waiting for beer to get cold.

Thanks Dave & Duane. I learned a lot by looking at your work on this site, And seeing Chuck's stuff when i went down there to get my hull. I do like for things to look good and be functional.

    Re: Steve's Build

Here is my $30.00 trailer i came up with. A Friend of mine gave it to me just to get it out of his yard. Boy was i surprised when i went to pick it up new tires and all.
I bought two new bunk boards and some new carpet for them for the 30 buck's.
It was for a 18' boat so i had to shorten it up some.and move the winch stand back. Just a little cutting and welding did the trick. My luck may be changing
Now i just need to come up with some money to get my redrive.

You picked a winner with the ford blue, and that redneck chrome makes a sharp combo.

    n4wsp,

Did you actually polish all those parts? In the picture it is hard to tell, I thought it was aluminum spray paint(redneck chrome). Looks great, either way.
