    Boeshield T-9

    Hey guys,

Here's something that a ran across, called Boeshield T-9. It sure sounds like some good stuff.

    http://www.boeshield.com/

Here's a cut and paste from thier website:

Thank you for your interest in our products.

Boeshield T-9® was developed and licensed by The Boeing Company to fill their need for a superior lubricant/protectant.

The formulation, based on a unique combination of solvents and waxes, is designed to penetrate metal pores and dissolve minor corrosion, then leave a resilient waxy coating that lasts for many months.

We began by successfully introducing Boeshield T-9® to the tough saltwater marine market for lubricating and protecting all metals. It works well on engines and deck hardware as well as electronics, batteries and wiring connections. It is non-conductive and will not cause short circuits.

Has anyone had any experience with this product?

    Thanks, Duane

Never even heard of it before, but Minnesotans should probably have their vehicles dipped in it, before driving them on our salt laden roads in the winter.

T9 is some good stuff. I use it on the Bicycle Chains, it is very thin. When it drys it is more
of a soft wax than an oil like WD40. It does tend to move all the grime out of the inner pins and out to the chain.

I like AERO KROIL for rusted bolts and the like. AERO KROIL http://www.kanolabs.com/
Has a bad smell, WD40 smell much better !!

Also used it on battery terminals

    Papee,

I think it only comes in an aerosol spray, or by the gallon, in a jug.

But you could get a gallon jug, pour a little of it into a soap dish, and wait for it to turn into soap.

Why would you want to bathe with this stuff? Oh yeah, it might lubricate and protect your knees. Duh.
