2 18 hp kohler 2 strokes

I have 2 18 hp kohler 2 strokes for sale or possible trade for something bigger, one runs one could be gotten running with a little more time, i bought them to use for a kicker fan for my bowfishing rig and then had to sell the big boat, the running motor has a complete shroud and 3418 wooden prop, i have 2 other props one has a ding it it though, i am asking 500 for everything

edit...i forgot to add these motors have electric starters and built in fuel pumps

I see a 2 into one reduction drive in the making. Duane you should start now. two engines running one prop. yea, that's the ticket. Let's see buster make a starter thingy for that!

He said they had starters. Even If I had to put a starter on one, the first engine should start the second, shouldn't it?

How about a 4 into 1, with a reduction drive? When I was talking with my local 4A084 flying friend about mufflers, he told me to think of the 4A084 as 4 - 21 cubic inch engines, all connected to a common shaft.

I didn't buy into everything he had to say that day, but some of it made a lot of sense.

So we've got 4 - 21 cubic inch engines, connected together, with a 1.73:1 reduction drive. Buster has came up with a starter, so it's all figured out. Huh?

Like I said, it's all been figured out. (you were answering at the same time that I was) I don't want any fame. I just want it to warm up enough that I can get back to work on the boat.

Yea I got the same message Duane. With 4/1 you would be sitting on the front deck to operate it but I'm sure you'll figure it out.

Somehow that makes sense.

I don't understand WHY, though. I'm going to have to scratch my head on that idea some...

Uh, because all 4 of those 21 cubic inch engines just happen to live in the same crankcase, in a flat 4 configuration, they shouldn't be any longer than, say, a 4A084. Hey! Maybe I'm on to something !

my next plan im not really sure, maybe an airjon...think i may have found a hull, also want to get a flipover ice hut...anyone around ia wanna trade a taurus 357 8 shot w scopemoutn and 40 mm bsa red dot for a 2 seat flipover ice hut....
