    Signature in color?

Well, I'm back with another question that should be easy to figure out. Only problem is, I CAN'T GET IT TO WORK

I just put my boat spec's in as my signature, and I thought I would make it blue.

Well, I tried several times, but no dice. What am I doing wrong

    Thanks for any help,
    Dave

    Re: Signature in color?

    Dave,

Go back to the user control panel, profile, signature - where you were when you edited the text the first time.

Mark what you want to change by clicking on the beginning, holding the left mouse button, and dragging to the end of what you want to change. Let go of the mouse button.

With it marked, move down to the color bar below that, and click on the color you want.

If that doesn't work for 'ya, give me a call, and I'll talk you thru it.

    Re: Signature in color?

    Duane,

Hey, thanks for the lesson, as you can see, it worked like a charm

I can't believe how little I know about some of the hi-tech stuff, that seems so easy afterwards.

Some day I might get you to teach me how to copy and paste. I have had it explained to me before, but if I don't use it on an regular basis, I can't seem to get to go again

    Thanks again,
    Dave

    Re: Signature in color?

    Dave,

No problem. I'm glad it worked for you.

Copying and pasting is just as easy, but much more dangerous.

It's VERY easy to copy and paste something that you didn't intend.

It can be very embarassing when it happens. Trust me on this.

Proof read your copy and pastes very well !!!!!

I assume that you have a Windows operating system.

The quick and dirty way to copy and paste is this:

Mark what you want to copy, then do a Ctrl-C (press Ctrl, hold it, and then press C).
That's a shortcut to the Windows Copy command.

Go to where you want to paste, then do a Ctrl-V (press Ctrl, hold it, and then press V).
That's a shortcut to the Windows Paste command.

BTW, if you'd wanted to "Cut" and paste, rather than Copy and paste, instead of using Ctrl-C, you'd have used use Ctrl-X. That's a shortcut to the Windows Cut command.

    Hope this helps you...

    Duane,

Thanks also, for the Copy & paste lessons. I printed it all out, so when I need it, hopefully I can find them, and I should be in good shape. Next time you are in the neighborhood, I'll buy you a
