The river has been so bad here this year I've been getting very little fishing in. I put the boat in again this morning at our local ramp hoping to find some clear water to fish in. I looked around for a while to no avail. I decided to go for a ride but where should I go, I've been all over the river lately becasue of the poor fishing.

AH ha I say to myself, I'll go down river and complain to the Governor! I should have set my GPS to see just how far it was but I had stopped a few times along the way site seeing and looking for new spots.

Just up the steps at the river and a short walk to see him from here. You can see in this photo how muddy the water is.

I'll add more pics later after I get some of them resized. The trip was about 20-25 miles each way by river I would guess. This is our Capital Building in the pic BTW at Harrisburg, PA

The old walking bridge for foot traffic to the island. The part of this bridge on the other side of the island was taken out by ice a while back.

Straight ahead in this photo is our courthouse. It's behind the tree I promise. The wife works in the courthouse. Maybe she would let me pick her up from work sometime in the boat.

Here's a short video also. I had the wrong settings on my camera so it is very short. I'll have to check into that so I don't do it again. I had some good footage on that one but I guess I was just pointing the camera through most of it.
