    I would weigh the hull first after the deck was removed. If it is over 300 lbs, i would forget it. You can use 1x4 treated pine for the stringers but make sure they are dry. After you cut them to fit the bottom, run a router on the top edges to give it a 1/2 inch radius on each side. This will make it easy to apply the fibreglass to it. Mix up some resin and paint the boards with the resin and let it dry. Now you are ready to set the stringers in place and tab them in.

    I don't know if I will try this or not, but I like to try different things. How will we ever know until someone tries it? Time will tell.

    Hey Bogger,

    I really enjoy turning junk into something. But to be quiet honest , I don't think I will try this one. It's too much work that might not work out.
