    MiniPro 116 Running Dry

Last night we ran the MiniPro 116 on dry ground. Ronnie drove it off in the
ditch in front of the shop and drove out the other side. The ditch has about
a 35 degree grade. We didn't expect it to climb that steep with the IVO
prop. The engine was the 35 HP Briggs with the hop up kit, Aprox 54 HP. We
didn't get any video, it was too dark but we might get some today if we get
time. We want to try our new 40 HP Kohler with the warp drive in the same
    ditch. Thanks, Chuck

I agree. I'd like to some more running dry videos. I'm anxious to see either it or the minipro 106 running in a Louisiana marsh. Chuck, do you have any experience running your any of your boats in a Louisiana marsh? Do you think that your mini's would be capable of traversing through our type of marsh? I know that since I was a kid, everytime we would go to Florida to test a new boat, the closest simulation to our type of marsh would be a torn up pasture. Louisiana marsh tends to be much more challenging of an environment for an airboat than the glades tend to be. From what I have seen at least.

I've never rode a boat in Louisiana but I have ran into dry muck here in
central Florida and if you were going very fast, it would throw you out of the
boat. When I come around a turn and see the dry mulk, I turn into the weeds
and make a new trail. I have been stuck many times and everyone else that
makes new trails will get stuck too. The good part is with the mini.s being
as lightweight as they are, they are easy to get unstuck. Chuck

Hey Guys, The MiniPro 116 in ditch is in Papee's hands now. Maybe he can
get it on the air soon. It's a short video, but it shows what the mini's are
    capable of doing.
    Thanks, Chuck
