Here are some other Spyda Airboat Pics:

This is the Spyda Airboat Decal from my buddy's company in the 80's.

This is the first Airboat that I ever owned. I think I sold it when i was 15 or so years old. I actually bought about it back again three years ago, after several years and owners. I sold it again in early 2007.
10'X5.5' Hull -Originally Manufactured in 1984
    Conduit Rigging
503 DCSI (Points Motor) 2.58:1 Gear Box
    68" - 3 Blade - Warp Drive Prop

This is a barely used, garage kept until a month ago, hull & rigging for sale. This is a redesigned Spyda Airboat hull sold new by Air-Tech Inc. in Reserve, LA. My cousin has this boat and is asking $2000.00. This boat is very lightweight and in very good condition. It is also 10'x5.5'. This boat was recently clocked on gps @ 43 mph across marsh with 2 adults in it, powered by a 618 Rotax.

    Hull and rigging sold.

By the way, I snuck away from Houston last weekend and made it home to get some work done on it. I was actually able to launch it and take it out for a maiden voyage! I was a little concerned about the condition of the poly, but it seemed to ride well. I still have some work to do, but at least I was able to take it out before it was time to go back to work. I forgot to get some pics, too busy riding and tuning. I'll see if I can get some new pics up in a couple of weeks when I go back.

Nope, not at all. Pretty much all of my boating / airboating out in that direction has been out to the Prop Stop. I do just about all of my airboating in my local area. (The Barataria Basin) My family leases some privately owned marsh and swamps near Bayou Gauche and Des Allemands. We have a duck & deer lease near the Houma / Bayou Blue area. I also have a few other family & friends that lease & own property in the same areas. There are also a lot of state owned waterways that I can run too. I have a trapping (alligator & nutria) lease on Timken WMA. I can apply for a special use permit to run an airboat on that 4,000 acre property for the harvest of nutria. They only allow me to do that during the month of march. That's mainly what I built my boat for, unfortunately I didn't have enough time to get it together for this past season.
