Might be worth the investment huh? All under 180 lbs fully dressed

Check out these deals and let me know what y’all think. 100 hp turn key with gearbox and everything for just under 6k
I would feel more comfortable staying 4-stroke to be honest
I was thinking that the Rotax was about my only option. I just don’t know anything about them. I would also like to keep everything I do under the 2500-3000 budget if possible. I did, however,...
The only thing I would be afraid of would be weight. My boat bottom is only 4.5' wide and I remember with the 084 on it, I could lean and almost dip the back corner into the water. I know it would...
Hey guys! This whole divorce thing hasn't hit me nearly as hard as I thought it would. I have only sold my 084 engines and reduction unit so I still have everything else. Before I completely give...
Thanks corky
Probably in the wrong place but can't think straight. I want to sell everything I have mini airboat related except I want to keep my hull and trailer basically. And maybe my gas tank. Text 918 424...
Thanks guys....I was so frustrated last night I parked it and went inside the house. I will mess with it some this evening.
Not to mention a few backfires. Let's just say I have a 34 pict 3 carb in my eBay cart and I am hovering over the checkout button already.....
Well that was a wasted trip feels like. Boat wouldn't get on plane and so I started lowering it back to where I had it in small increments and it was slowly getting better until it started dropping...
I am now 7/8" high in the front and fixing to head to the water hole to try it out
One guy on southern airboat says he had similar issues with composite props and went to a wood prop and had night and day difference. I will definitely try re-pitching the thrust angle first.
Hey Papee! So right now I am sitting 3/8 high in the front from level.....so what you are saying is I need to angle my angle of thrust even further towards the water? I will raise it another half...
Hey, 3 heads are always better than 1! We'll get it worked out hopefully. I was also already thinking of the carb change.....I noticed how Papee said he was running around a 200 degree oil temp...
Perhaps raising the front of the engine will create lift in the back and get me out of the hole quicker and keep the nose from bouncing. That would be a win win to kill two birds with one stone.
Hey corky, I hope to get out and experiment this weekend. My temp stays around 175 until I get to running it hard. Then it creeps up to around 200. It hasn't went any higher and once I slow down...
Bueller?
I am not sure, someone else will have to chime in. I have heard a quarter inch can make a huge difference. Personally I would make it to where you could adjust at least + or - an inch from level. ...
True....everyone says if your hull is good, crank centerline needs to be as parallel as possible to the boat bottom so that the boat runs "free." That is the motor is not pushing the bow down or the...
Chuck says I need to spin the motor to 3850, Jerry from Arrowprop says I need to crank the pitch up and only spin the motor at around 3000. I don't know jack really about propellers and thrust and...
