What made you decide on the 52" 3 blade?
Papee; have you had time to look at the drive?
Anyone have any thoughts or comments on the Arrowprop R-drive?? I can see right off it does not have a cog belt, Hmmmmmmm.
Taking baby steps right now: Using Corky's example, I made trammel points out of one of my T's. I used shelf tapping sheet metal screws which gave me a good point to scribe the radius. I held down...
It all begins with two sheets of aluminum and some structural T's. I decided to follow Corky's lead and remove some weight from the T's. I am using 3/16 x 1 1/2 cutting down the center post to 1". ...
“SWEET”; you are going to turn some heads. Great Job!
Way Cool! You may want to patent that idea! Nice job!
Yeah, we are OK, but had two close calls with tornados touching down. Good news, Lake Travis is up 38ft from the down 44.
Finally got material ordered for my hull, getting the forming lined up,...
Looks PRO Bro! Great Job! Your design work has turned out well!
Supper Job! The electric anchor makes all the deference in the world. It looks like the crash cleaned up pretty well. Are you going to pad your battery case to stop the erosion from the vibration?
Stellar job Corky! I know you must be chomping at the bit to get it powered up!
Great idea Papee! It would be a big help for us new guys.
Hey froghunter! You have done a great job on your rig. Weather has been nasty here as well, but I am getting back in gear. Engine is now ready to go; got all of my gages hooked up, and they all work....
OK, I am back on track: Ran out of money so I had to get more cash before I could proceed; also it has been too cold for me to work in my garage. I never intended for this project to get done...
You are one lucky Dude! Glad you were not injured. With that kind of luck, I hope you went out and bought some lottery tickets.
I was able to find this info from homebuilt .com.;thumb;

1. Re: Help! teledyne 4A084 Military
I have found this document,which describes the result of testing some military...
Budget has not allowed me to purchase material yet, but it will next month. I have been concentrating on the engine buying gauges, new carburetor, and working on my rudders.
Do not recommend it; it is not an all purpose alloy.
Where does one find the recommended operating temps {oil & CHT} and oil pressure for the 4A084-4?? I have not been able to locate it anywhere in the manual.:?::sad:
MIG welding stainless is easy; use 308 wire; {309} to combine stainless and carbon. The usual choice for the filler when welding stainless to mild is 309L./309 is over alloyed stainless steel (19/10)...
Absolutely outstanding! Looks factory made. Great job! One can tell you have put a lot of work into it.
Did not want to run engine without the gauges installed to see what it was doing.
"ROCK AND ROLL"
I got my starter re-installed with the gussets added, and I added one more mounting hole. {Much more ridged}
I also got my gauges mounted to the test stand so I can work on the new intake and carb....
Sounds good to me!
THANKS!;thumb;
OK, thanks for all of the help.
