You alsohave a vacuum line 2 goes to a charcoal canister 1 goes to air cleaner valve and a larger one to pcv valve. All can be blocked off and also no wires needs to be connected maybe bowl vent.

I think if the enrichment valve is disconnected it is shut off. A computer has to activate the valve to make it add fuel. If the valve was removed from carburetor the carburetor would run too rich....
