Hello everyone. I have just joined this group and I am interested in building a 2 seat Lake Buggy. I have purchased the plans and have them. I already have a Rotax 503 belt drive with 62" 3 blade IVO PROP. This is off of my powered parachute. I am trying to find pictures of other Lake Buggy builds but I cannot seem to find any. It would be nice to see some pics of what others have done and the results they had. I am new to this so any help would be very much appreciated.

What size plywood hull would be a good match for a Rotax 503 belt drive, with a 3 blade 62" prop?
Any suggestions please? Thank you!

They say min 5', I would like to do the same but make it 7'/2people-still figuring it out.
Here is a link I started.
Also, go to post #11 and watch the three videos Papee has on U-Tube.

Just remember you have drag on the wetted surface. Once you are on plane the more surface you have on the water the more drag you have. Going wider than needed will cause drag and slow the boat down. Bigger is not always better.
