Hello everyone.....I'm getting for the throttle system stage of my build and have a few questions...:confused:

In my application I've got a floor mounted aluminum throttle pedal and the 084 engine...Looking through all the different marine store's choices makes me more confused..:lol:
I'll start with these few questions and go from there...

1}What are the options on a type of cable to use ???

2}How do you measure for the length of cable needed for a peticular application ??

3} How hard of a turn radius will the cable bend ??

4}Which mounting brackets should be used with the cable ??

5}Which cable ends are best ??

I'd like to get a reliable cable assembly and associated hardware that will last not necessarily the cheapest just to get by...Thanks in advance for any help and guidance !!

I'll get some links for you. You'll want to order your steering cable at the same time. They pretty much work the same with length and throw. They will bend but as you know the straighter you keep them the smoother they work. As far as measuring, you have to watch. Some measure just the casing and others the total length.

I don;t want to get too far ahead but do you have your regulator yet? I can find it on ebay if you need it.

Thanks for the links Papee...I bought the regulator Chuck recommended for the 084 with no stator mods/rewinding...It was a harley regulator from J &P cycles...
