Steve I have a spare head here I pulled off, I think it may just have bad seals on it. It was fowling plugs.S Saturn also has new valves with seals included.

Hey Papee
I have not pulled the head off yet. my #4 cylinder has no compression. I think it may have a lose valve seat. Are the valve seats in your head tight.

I never looked at it, I just took it off and put it in the box. come to think about it I'm not even sure there is anything wrong with the head itself. I was having trouble with that cylinder fowling out so I went and got a new piston, rings, jug, and head and replaced it all. It would run fine on a long run then when I slowed down or got off the gas it would smoke like crazy at times fowling the plug. I would just carry a spare plug with me and replace it. After I put a new plug in or cleaned it ran fine again. It may have just been a problem with the piston rings and not the head.

Pull the valve cover off and spin it over and see if the valves are moving. If they look right it may be just the rings. A new jug, piston and rings is probably only around $50 and a very easy job. I know Mark doesn't have any new heads at Saturn because when I blew the heli-coil out on mine he said I got the last one. If you don
t want to buy a whole gasket set let me know, I have two sets here that are mostly complete and can pull the gaskets out that you need.

It looks like around $7-$11 to ship, I'll just send it out and let you know what it cost when I get back from the post office. I'll try to get it out tomorrow, if not it will be Friday. I'll send you a PM with the total.

Ok Steve, I didn't get out today but I will be sending through the post office so good thing I checked this. I edited your posts to take your address out. Not sure you want that listed on an open forum. Before I close the box do you need any gaskets?

Price all depends on your location. If you can sell them locally you can get a bit more for them. If you have to ship them expect a little less. I'd probably say $250-300 if they are good.

Steve I got the MO yesterday thanks.
