The main oil leak I still have, seems to be from the oil filter gasket. I have tried hand tightening as normal, then I tightened it as much as I could by hand, then I used the filter wrench and really cranked on it! It's still leaking :shock: :shock:

This is a replacement, remote spin on filter adapter unit. The instructions called for a certain filter cartridge, but I decided to use the Motorcraft FL-1A cartridges I have on hand, since they seemed to fit perfectly.

This is the second FL-1A I have tried on there, and I'm starting to think my problem may be the wrong filter, but I lost the paper with the correct filter info.

If anyone knows which filter cartridge is called for, please let me know. I'm about ready to spend the cash for it, even though I have a dozen or so filters that "should" fit.
