Someone had suggested a super mini class. What does everone think of:
Class 1: Mini Airboat the way it is now.
Class 2: Super Mini, 2 cyl- 1001 to 1400 cc, 3 or more cyl- 751 to 1400 cc.
Class 3: Max Mini, 1401 to 2000 cc, and that would be the maximum size
for any mini classification.
Everone has to have a place to belong without fear of being out-classed.
As a boat builder, I have to build what the customer wants and what the
market will support. Let me here what everyone thinks and we can put it to
a vote. Thanks, Chuck

I copied Chucks post here and added the poll. Please add your opinions on this. If you have other ideas let us know. This is why I decided to start this site, to let a group of people that are interested determine the qualifications for a mini airboat so we can start offering prizes and trophies at events. Please help us get this under way. If you are reading this and are not a member please join the forum and express your opinion.

Edit: I have just changed the permissions for guests, you can vote in this poll even if you are not a member. I still encourage guests to join our forum and let us know what you think about the Mini Airboat Association and what we are trying to do for the hobby.

Edit I made this a global announcement so it shows up in every forum. We need votes on this!

This works for me, I've already brought up my concerns about this subject and everyone seemed to agree that they didn't mind the smaller engines and the rotax engines being in the same classification.
