The Mini Airboat Association while just forming, is devised of some very knowledgable members.
Many of us are already involved in the promotion of airboating safety and publics relations to improve the
airboaters reputation. We a group of organized Mini Airboat owners and friends that would like to see the mini
airboat included in many or all of regular airboat events. Through this association we hope to define the mini airboat,
set limits which would include or exclude a boat form being in a mini class.
We hope to make new friends and also get the word out about the mini classes of aiboats. We hope to combine our love for the hobby
and use it to include others who are thinking about airboating as their hobby. We also hope that we may guide others in building their own version of the mini airboats.
We know that sooner or later, as men, we will want to put our boat against other designers boats in an association regulated class or classes
for the mini airboat.
The Mini Airboat Association is a national association/club for mini airboaters.
We hope to give local clubs the support they need to build a successful club on the local levll while determining the definition of a Min Airboat. MAA hopee that locals clubs would join the Mini Airboat Association and adopt the MAA rules on Mini Airboats.
MAA will provide a place for all mini airboaters to meet on the internet allowing each local club a place on the bulletin board as well as club pages to allow people on the local level to see that there is a Mini Airboat Club available in their area. If you are interested in forming a local Mini Airboat club please contact us and we will set up an account for you. Any club forming and using MAA tools or funds will be asked to adopt the MAA rules defining a Mini Airboat.
